Public Health Student
Edwin is currently completing his Master of Public Health, at the University of Melbourne. His academic focus is in the field of global health, in particular migrant & refugee health and health systems research. He is also a Research Assistant at the Jack Brockhoff Child Health & Wellbeing Program, at the Centre of Health Equity, Melbourne School of Population and Global Health (MSPGH). Additionally, he was the Secretary of the Melbourne Population Health Student Association (MPHSA) in 2017-18, the representative body for all students at the MSPGH.
Having developed a strong desire to overcome inequality of any form since a young age, informed partially by his background as a migrant, Edwin is particularly focused on developing community-driven solutions to overcome health, economic and racial inequalities.
